Coming of Age Ceremony
- The Coming-of-age Ceremony is designed to help parents and their early teenage children celebrate the transition of childhood to adulthood. There are many groups throughout history that have celebrated this rite of passage. (e.g., Bar Mitzvah in the Jewish culture). Some choose a 13th birthday party as the natural setting for such a ceremony.
